I spent over four years the same schedule. I would hop on a plane, go to a different country in the world, complete the project and have lots of fun. I actually love this life, but I still didn't feel fulfilled.

It wasn't until I was sitting on a white sandy beach when I realized that if I don't do something now, I won't ever take a leap. That's the day I changed. I wrote down that I was going to go become a millionaire in real estate. However, that wasn't the path that I initially took.

I had an idea where I would develop an electronic product, and I went all in. This was going my 100 million dollar idea. I quit my job just a year later, sold my home, liquidated everything and put it all into my business. I realized really quite fast that I probably shouldn't have done that, but who cares? A lesson learned.

That particular project did not pan out. However, I gained national attention from it. I was on an Oxygen TV show called "Quit My Day Job". I was published in a lot of tech journals. I was even featured at the CES show. But I ran out of money. Mom said, "Kelli, you can move back home." I needed to go back to real estate.

As an investor, I started doing what I knew. I started Wholesaling Houses. Then I started teaching people how to wholesale houses.

Next thing I knew, I was selling homes for a Builder. I had no experience in new construction, but I wanted to really get an understanding of how to do this.

That first year, I sold 74 houses. That was over $24 million in revenue for the company. I became the #1 Agent in the company, but also a Top Producer in my brokerage. By 2021, I promoted me to run the my market. I had a team and we sold over 200 homes. (That's with five months of not selling so the builder can catch up.)

During that time I learned everything I could learn about construction and how to sell and market new construction homes.
